Then drive to pass the monument of the Revolution and on to the Chapultepec Park and the residential area of Polanco with elegant shops, boutiques, chic restaurants, galleries and embassies. Duration approx. 4 hours.
The rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own. Day 03 Mexico
Tour to visit the Shrine of Guadalupe, the centre of Indian Catholic worship in Mexico. On the way stop at the Square of the 3 Cultures. Then continue to the Pyramids of Teotihuacan (UNESCO World Heritage site) north of the city, the largest discovered ancient Indian city of Central America. Remarkable are the Street of the Dead, the Citadel, the Temple of Quet-zalcoatl, Sun- and Moon Pyramids..

Day 04 Mexico – Taxco (By Road) (176 kms / 3 hrs appx)
Transfer from Mexico to Taxco, a colonial little town (protected as national monument) famous for its silver smiths. Intermediate stop in Cuernavaca, city of the eternal spring to see the Cathedral and the palace of Cortes. On arrival in Taxco guided walking tour of the city including a visit to the beautiful church of Sta. Prisca, the market and the silver bazaar, including information about the silver processing and opportunity for shopping.

Day 05 Taxco – Acapulco Guerrero (By Road) (245 kms / 4 hrs appx.)
Transfer Mexico-Acapulco passing through the Sierra Madre to the Pacific coast on the motorway “Ruta del Sol”. On arrival City tour cliff divers. City tour of Merida visiting the Cathedral, the Regional Museum of Anthropology and History, the Montejo Residence as well as the Zocalo and the Market. Duration approx. 3 hrs. Early afternoon tour to Uxmal (UNESCO World Heritage) including the best Light & Sound Show in Mexico, where you can admire the impressive drama of the history of this amazing people. The Mayan town of Uxmal, in the Yucatan, was founded in about 700 AD and had about 25,000 inhabitants.
Its buildings, which date from between 700 and 1000, are arranged according to astronomical knowledge of the period. The Pyramid of the Soothsayer, as the Spanish called it, dominated the ceremonial centre which comprises carefully-designed buildings richly decorated with symbols and with sculptures depicting Chaac, the rain god. Excursion to celestun, a 59,000 ha wide natural reserve about 90 km from Merida. In a tropical setting at a river entering the Gulf of Mexico you will observe pink flamingos, cormorants and other species in their natural habitat. Overnight in Merida.

Drive to picturesque colonial village of Izamal, where the main square of the Monastery of S. Anthony of Padua is the 2nd largest arcade place in the world next to St. Peter’s square in Rome. After a short visit continue to the Pyramids of Chichen-Itza, UNESCO World Heritage and one of the most important religious sites of the Mayan culture, where you will see the pyramid Kukulcán, the ball game court, the observatory and other buildings.
This site is one of the most impressive testimonies to the Mayan-Toltec civilization of the Yucatan (10th to 15th centuries). It contains some of the most outstanding examples of Central American architecture, combing Mayan construction techniques.

The day Will be devoted to a visit to this most famous Colonial City. For Two Centuries Almost 40% Of The World’s Silver Was Mined In Guanajuato, The Silver And Gold Mines Found Here Were Among The Richest In The World, Many Of The Colonial Structures Built From This Wealth Remain Intact, Making Guanajuato A Living Monument.
We will visit such famous buildings as the cathedral, containing a jewel-covered image of the virgin, patroness of guanajuato, given to the city by phillip ii of spain in thanks for riches which accrued to the crown and of course the famous “callejón del beso”, the narrowest of the many narrow alleys (or “callejones”), legend says that lovers living on opposite sides used to exchange furtive kisses from these balconies.

You will dLeave Guanajuato And Drive South To The State Of Michoacán And Its Beautiful Capital City Of Morelia, Officially Founded In 1541. Virrey Antonio De Mendoza Named It Valladolid, After The Spanish City Of That Name And Encouraged Families Of Spanish Nobility To Move Here. These Families Remained, And Maintained Valladolid As A Very Spanish City,
At Least Architecturally Until 1828. Even Today, With Its Downtown Streets Lined By Colonial Buildings, Morelia Still Looks As Spanish As It Probably Did Before Independence. DAY 01. ARRIVE MEXICO CITY (BY FLIGHT)
TRANSFER IN MEXICO CITY + CITY TOUR WITH ANTROPOLOGY MUSEUM
Reception at the international airport of Mexico City “Benito Juarez”, we will start the City Tour visiting Zocalo Square, the main square, and its formal name is “Plaza de la Constitución”, the second largest city square in the world, after Red Square of Moscow.
You’ll also visit the National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, and a guided tour visiting the Anthropology Museum. The Museum reveals life in Mexico from Aztecs times to the Spanish conquest and it contains one of the world’s largest collections of archaeological and anthropological artifacts.
In the afternoon we will head back to the hotel where you can spend free time enjoying a walk or shopping downtown. At night, we will visit Plaza Garibaldi, to listen to the traditional melodic music of Mariachi. Return to the hotel and free time.

DAY 02. MEXICO CITY | FRIDA KAHLO MUSEUM AND XOCHIMILCO
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Coyocan, we will visit the most famous Mexican Artists Museums: the famed Blue House, built by Frida Kahlo’s father and her home for most of her life.
You’ll have the opportunity to walk and live an original Mexican atmosphere then we will continue to Xochimilco World Heritage Site, here we will take a boat ride through the canals of Xochi milco con a “trajinera”, surrounded by a floating world of mariachi and marimba music. Return to the hotel and free evening time.

DAY 03. MEXICO CITY | GUADALUPE SHRINE AND TEOTIHUACAN
Breakfast at the hotel.
We will start our tour by visiting the Plaza de las three cultures, where the past and the present are mixed, from there we will continue to the impressive archaeological zone of Teotihuacán, where we will visit the monumental Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the temple of Quetzalpapalotl, the citadel and the avenue of the dead.
We will also visit a craft workshop where that includes information about handicrafts of obsidian and jade and a local traditional drinks elaboration (Including tasting of Mezcal, Tequila, and Pulque), Upon returning to the city, we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patron Saint of America.

DAY 04. MEXICO – SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS (BY FLIGHT)
TRANSFER OUT MEXICO CITY / TRANSFER IN TUXTLA GUTIERREZ + CAÑON DEL SUMIDERO

Transfer to the International Airport of Mexico City “Benito Juarez” to take the flight to Tuxtla Gutierrez.
Enjoy a guided tour visiting the Sumidero Canyon, here, granite cliffs and walls with a height of over a thousand meters surround the cause of the Grijalva, later we’ll visit a small village in Chapa de Corzo where you will learn more about the culture (if the time allows us).
Then we will continue the road to San Cristobal de las Casas, to check-in at the hotel, located downtown.

DAY 05. SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS – INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES – SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS

Departure and transportation to an area known as “Los altos de Chiapas” to visit the indigenous communities in San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan, indigenous towns which keep their traditional way of life, their religious faith and their social organizations. Their churches, buildings and clothing are most original and colourful.
Afterwards, return to San Cristobal de las Casas. Free afternoon. We suggest a walking through the streets of this beautiful city and visit the market, Santo Domingo, the Cathedral and the museum of Jade which keep a copy of King Pakal’s tomb. Lodging. .

DAY 06. SAN CRISTÓBAL DE LAS CASAS – AGUA AZUL – MISOL-HA – PALENQUE

Tour to the Agua Azul Waterfalls (Blue Water Waterfalls), its water seeming turquoise tones, its short waterfalls create wells which in turn are natural swimming pools where it is possible to be refreshed, surrounded by abundant vegetation and typical fauna of the place.
We will visit the Misol Ha Waterfall.
Afterwards, we will be heading towards Palenque.

DAY 07. PALENQUE – CAMPECHE

Visit the archaeological area of Palenque, located at the jungle. One of the most important of the Mayan World, Both, due to the historical discoveries as for its beauty. Within the Pyramid of Inscriptions there was found the original King Pakal’s tomb with an engraved inscription in it. Visit to Cruz Foliada Temple, Sun’s temple and the Palace. We will continue our tour to reach the beautiful city of Campeche surrounded by walls.

DAY 08. CAMPECHE – HACIENDA DE SOTUTA – UXMAL – MERIDA

Enjoy a panoramic tour of Campeche city surrounded by walls.
Departure towards Yucatan to the “Hacienda de Sotuta” live the sensation of traveling through time to the era of the splendor of the Yucatan haciendas, visit the main house, the driving force museum and learn how henequen became a source of prosperity for the landowners of the Yucatan Peninsula, then we will transfer to visit Uxmal, deemed as one of the most representative and antique cities in the Puuc area.
Visit to this archaeological area of great architectural beauty: The Pyramid of the Fortune-Teller, the Nuns Quadrangle, the Palace of the Governor and the Ball’s Game.

DAY 09. MERIDA – CHICHEN ITZA – CENOTE – VALLADOLID

On the last day prepare to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World: Chichen Itza. Absolutely the most visited archaeological site in the peninsula of Yucatan, due to its extraordinary architecture beauty and its geographical location, Chichen Itza was one of the greatest Mayan centers of the Yucatán peninsula.
The fusion of mayan centers construction techniques with new elements from central Mexico make Chichen Itza one of the most important examples of the Mayan – Toltec civilization in Yucatan. Several buildings have survived, such as the Warriors’ Temple “El Castillo” and the circular observatory known as “El Caracol”.
Later, we will carry on to Valladolid, where will be a stop to the Cenotes Samula and X-keken. Here you can swim and refresh in the crystal water of these unique caves surrounding the Yucatan Peninsula. Following check-in and free time to enjoy the historic center.

DAY 10. VALLADOLID – LAS COLORADAS – RIO LAGARTOS – PLAYA DEL CARMEN

You’ll visit Las Coloradas, also known as “the pink sea of Yucatan”. The color of the water is due to the high concentration of salt that has the bottom, which makes it a real show.
Afterwards we will move to the fisherman village of Rio Lagartos, where we will take a boat tour of the lagoon, visiting the most interesting sites, among which the Sanctuary of the Rose Flamingos. At the end of the tour, we will carry on to Playa del Carmen, for accommodations at the selected hotel.
